IshQ Bector is one of the most talked about artists in the South Asian community. Yes, his good looks are part of the reason, but it’s also because of the take that he’s taken on Bollywood and Hip-Hop music. “Aye Hip Hopper” is the hottest track by IshQ and it also features the sensual vocals of Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan. Between text messages and phone calls, I had the chance to talk to IshQ and get into his mindset on music!

What do you consider your musical forte?
F*ck music!! I’m a mathematician who’s been working on this equation forever: mind – body – spirit = composition – groove – instruments…The variables are infinite…!

Of all the songs you’ve recorded till date, which ones would you consider your top three tracks?
1) Kala Jadoo
2) Dakku Daddy
3) Aye Hip-Hopper

What are your goals musically for the next two to three years?
Perform and take over the Bollywood cinema music direction!

Who do you think is the sexiest Bollywood babe out there right now?
Hhhhmmm…Priyanka Chopra.

What’s the first thing you notice about a woman?
I notice is if she has noticed me or not!

What’s the craziest experience you’ve had with a female fan?
Well this one crazy girl was stalking me to get my birth details because apparently she had seen a pandit about our holy union. He said that we would be a super hit jodi…ha.. I think her pandit needs to go back to rehab.

What’s the craziest experience you’ve had with a female in general?
Not telling…all I can say is “sex, lies & digital cameras.”

Honestly, what’s a bigger turn on: a sexy body or a charming personality?
My brain is my most sensitive sex organ…so I’ll go for the charming personality…covered in chocolate mousse and mango chatni!

What are your thoughts on groupies?
They should practice more group sex on their off days.

If a drunk girl came up to you after performing at a club and was hitting on you, what would you do?
I’d flash my badge and ask her for her license & registration! I don’t need no problems with my cutie girlfriend just because of some drunk courage… save it for the serial killers…or until I turn into one again
