Nishi's NicheThe Power of Unconditional and Eternal Love

Love, relationships and marriage are never easy. We may fool ourselves into thinking they’re easy, and we may even believe it for years, but, sooner or later, when things start happening to “rock the boat,” we learn just how true and strong our love, relationships and marriage really are. We come to learn the power of unconditional and eternal love.
Generally, if your love is strong, it will weather the storm. Sometimes, however, the boat cannot be saved – not because your love was not strong enough, but because love simply wasn’t enough to save it. That’s the other funny thing you’ll learn: love is only one factor.
Sometimes two people are no longer compatible in what they want or need in life. They may love each other, but cannot help that things have changed – that one and/or the other’s goal or high priorities are no longer a relationship with the other. Perhaps it is education or pursuit of a life-long dream that takes you away from your partner. Love can conquer these changes and work past them, but only if both people are willing. It would take great effort, might require separation and time apart, in order to come together again and work to desire the same high priority goal of being together.
The worst thing you can do, however, is fight the change. No matter how sad, how heartbreaking, love cannot grow or survive without freedom. The hardest thing you will learn is how to love someone enough to let them go, to want what is best for them, even if it means causing yourself pain and losing them. That is unconditional love.
I learned through recent events that I truly, unconditionally, love someone very dear to my heart, and that my love for him is eternal even if he is not by my side. Eternal & unconditional. I know his love for me is the same.
I learned that when you love – love for the right reasons: because that person makes you happy, because you make him/her happy, because you both want to continue to make each other happy & will work to do that, because you want to be together through thick and thin, because you strive to know and understand each other deeply & wholly, and because you accept each other in every way, good & bad – all your dark parts. When you love someone, you will do all things in the spirit of love for them.
If, in the spirit of true love, you part ways, trust that it was for the best. You may move on, lead different lives & forge new love with someone else, but the love you shared – if it was true love – it never dies, it remains, forever, and simply waits to be found again. That is the power of unconditional and eternal love. Beautiful and everlasting, it shall remain so long as you two live.
Love, relationships and marriage are never easy – they are hard work, but when the prize is learning the power of unconditional and eternal love, it is worth everything.
