Jay Sean is #1

If there was ever a day that Jay Sean would be proud of himself, today would be added to that list!

It’s just been announced that Jay Sean’s sultry signature single, “Down,” featuring the #1 rapper in America & also label-mate, Lil Wayne, has jumped to the 31 position on the Billboard Hot 100, “dethroning the Black Eyed Peas I Got A Feeling 26-week run at the top and jumping from #3 to #1 on the prestigious Top 40 Radio Chart,” (Source: MediaBase & BDS).

Recently Jay Sean’s single also went platinum, as it “reached the coveted 1 million digital singles sales plateau after only two months of release.” Talk about making some fast moves! But this success isn’t just a high point in Jay Sean’s musical career. It’s also an amazing achievement for Cash Money Records, as it marks the first one of their artists as attained the #1 post at Top 40 Radio Chart.
