De Dana Hit

'Paisa' by RDB feat. Manak-E from 'De Dana Dan'Super!

Classic!

Awesome!

A Must See!

That’s all that comes to mind after I just saw ‘De Dana Dan.’ Not to mention I saw someone I knew who walked out of the show before me and they were like, “Yo T, that RDB track is killer!” Yes, I know it is! But we’ll talk about that in a little bit!

I don’t even know where to begin about this movie. From the first few opening seconds to the very last minute, it was pure comedy! And obviously before the star-studded cast was even revealed, knowing that it’s a PriyaDarshan flick, starring Akshay Kumar just gives everything away! You’re bound to be amused!

Now onto the huge cast in the film! Akshay Kumar (as you already know), Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif [are all in the lead roles], but then you got Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia, and Sameera Reddy who add to the masti and madness in this film! I can go on forever, but really, each character plays such a vital role and add to the comedy!

And if you’ve never been to Singapore, the movie was shot there and gives you a great look at some places you should visit…especially a certain hotel I’ve decided to stay at when I visit (and I’m not telling you which one…you’ll have to see DDD to find out!)

For those who haven’t seen the flick…if you continue reading, there will be spoilers ;-) Oh heck with it…here I go!

Kumar and Shetty play best friends who only have luck in the area of love and when it comes to money, they are more broke than a car with no engine, flat tires and blown out exhaust (I had to give you an image lol)! But they do have one good thing — their rich girlfriends, who are played by Kaif and Reddy. I think you can figure out which girl is with which actor! They want to elope with their loved one, but not until they have enough money to do so! Their intial plan goes bust and then Kumar ends up being the victim of his own plan! But to make matters worse, the guys encounter an assortment of characters like a Chinese Don, a hired assassin, an ACP officer, a club dancer, an ambassador, a young frustrated wife, a drunken waiter and a dead body nobody wants who have all checked in the same hotel in Singapore.

Trust me; you’ll have to see the film to believe it! Now, onto my favorite part, the film’s music. I’m going to sound really bias when I say this, but the best track…hands down…is Paisa by RDB featuring Manak-E. The song had prime placement in the movie and was also featured in the end credits! Manj, Kuly, and Surj have done a job well done with this track, and Manak-E only adds more flavor to this all-time classic! I’m ending it at that and leaving ya’all with the video to watch! Trsut me, you’ll want to buy the album after watching the video!

What did I tell you, awesome track or what!
