Disney Channel is now trying to reach out to the young generation and have them become more environmently friendly!

With their latest program being launched, Friends for Change, in which they want viewers to pledge to change the environment and have a say in how Disney will spend $1 million on how to help change the world we live in.

Miley first capitaved the hearts of her fans when she debut her Emmy Award-nominated show Hannah Montana, which first airred on March 24, 2006 on The Disney Channel. The show, as everyknow knows, is about a girl who lives a double-life…by day she’s a normal teenager Miley Stewart and by night she’s internationally known pop star Hannah Montana.

Since then Cyrus has been filming one new season after the other and on April 10, 2009 Hannah Montana: The Movie was released in theatres across the world. Over the years, Miley has been one of the fastes growing girls in this industry.
