J., played by Hrithik Roshan, is a dance teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an alternate source of income, J. and his partner Robin, decides to marry immigrant women for their money and to get them a green card. When Gina, the rich daughter of a powerful casino owner falls for him, J. goes along in order to marry into money. He doesn’t love her but realizes that she’s a Daddy’s girl and whatever she wants, she gets.
He discovers that his future brother-in-law, the vicious, homicidal Tony is about to marry a Mexican woman named Natasha (the spanish Barbara Mori), whom J. knows as Linda, the last of the immigrant women he married. On the night before “Natasha” and Tony’s wedding, Linda and J. spend a romantic but chaste night, humorously agreeing to a “divorce.” A jealous, gun-wielding Tony, however, arrives at her apartment while J. is there, and after he hits her, Linda impulsively knocks him out with a heavy object while he tussles with J. Linda and J. go on the run toward Mexico, with Tony and police in pursuit.
Now with that said, Kites is definitely not a movie that has stayed with the tried and true Bollywood flavor, turning into the many hundred American movies that are released yearly. Kites is a very bad movie and it only serves Hrithik Roshan female fans who love to watch his tall body move like a rubber band (I still don’t know how he does it). Overall, it could have been a good story but it falls flat with the Hindi, spanish and english language thrown in. It should have just been told and then wonderfully executed.
But this director decided to make it a love tragedy that he amped up on steroids. The music of the movie…

With all this type about the movie Kites, we thought it would be a good idea to get you a little more up-close with the actress of the film, Barbara Mori. back in 2007, Mori and her son did an ad for the Hispanic version of “Got Milk?” That’s right…Mori has a son!
She’s actually an unwed mother and has a love child. When Mori was in her modeling days, she met Mexican actor Sergio Mayer, and the two of them had a child together – Sergio Jr, was born in 1998. Because Mori was so young, she not marry him and then later moved on to acting in Mexican telenovellas and later in movies.
Though Sergio Jr. will not be coming to Mumbai with Mori for the filmin of Kites, the two of them are very close. As seen in the picture they both appeared in a ‘drink milk’ Hispanic ad campaign in 2007, which was part of ‘Think Before You Drive.’

When Bollywood and Hollywood stars meet, there’s always a sort of chemistry in the environment! But it looks like Michael Jackson’s hot his eyes on a certain Bollywood hottie…and no, I’m not talking about Aishwaria Rai!
Recently MJ went to LA to meet up with…get this…Hrithik Roshan. Sources say that Hrithik was shooting for his movie ” Kites” in Los Angeles and out of the blue he saw MJ on the sets!
One of the crew members told the press, “Michael introduced himself to Hrithik. It was a funny scene to see someone like him, who the whole world knows introducing himself. The two spoke for a short time and then Michael left.”
We all know MJ’s little obsession with young boys…so I hope MJ ne line nahi maara Hrihik pe!
This is Mona…and I’m out

Once a couple creates brilliant on-screen chemistry, the paparazzi is always the first to stat rumors that something is happening between the co-stars in real life. Yes, there’ve been times when these on-screen romances turn into off-screen ones, but most of the time the actors remain as “just good friends.” With 2009 coming in a few weeks, I thought it’d be nice to look at some of the most “talked about” couples…on and off screen!
