Based in Portland, Oregon, Vimal Patel aka DJ Desiplaya is the Co-Founder and prime producer of Xplicit Desi Vibes - a group which can easily be called the #1 South Asian remix and production crew in the U.S. DJ Desiplaya asserts that all members of XDV have, “a passion for music and love what they do.”

Desiplaya began DJing at the age of 16, and since then, he’s always felt at one with the art of music. When he entered into this industry, it was his goal to release a mixtape which would one, set him apart from other producers in the scene, and two, catch the attention of not only South Asian listeners, but music lovers across the globe with his fusion of different genres.
