When it comes to Bollywood, producers & directors always try to be one step above the rest. Whether it’s a dance sequence shot on the outskirts of the Himalayas, or taking permission to film within Universal Studios, our film industry is known to go above and beyond.

But over the past few years, Bollywood has stepped into a different route – animation.

We go out first taste of Bollywood starts in an animated way when the King Khan himself, Shahrukh Khan, lent his voice to a cartoon character in the Disney movie Hum Hain Lajawab. And it was extra-special for SRK as his son, Aryan, accompanied him in this endeavor as well.

Khan had stated, “I was not sure if he would pass the audition test, but he did a good job and I’m happy he has already got his first pay check,” in regards to Aryan’s voice over for the character Tez Pal. Shahrukh Khan was given the character of Mr. Lajawaab in the movie, which is a Hindi remake of Disney’s ever-so popular, The Incredibles.

Khan then went onto say, “In Hollywood cartoon movies characters are written keeping in mind the Hollywood stars who will voice over. But this character is completely unlike me.”

The entire “Khan-daan” along with the rest of the Bollywood film fraternity waited with bated breath to welcome their latest member, Amir Khan’s nephew, the hot-n-happening Imran Khan. Imran makes his acting debut with a fresh and cute entertainer, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. And what an awesome debut! The movie received a thunderous opening in India and abroad. A fresh story, foot-tapping music, and good acting is all it takes to win over the hearts of movie-buffs. Jaane Tu… has it all!

With two blockbuster films to his credit, namely Hum Tum and Fanaa, Kunal Kohli continues to enjoy a success-ride at the box office. While upholding his own production company and positively increasing his reputation as a director, Kohli also manages to raise the YashRaj Films banner from the ground. Recent disastrous films including Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Aaja Nachle, and Tashan can be held responsible for shamefully pulling down the powerful banner and for making Yash Chopra look bad. Well, I am proud to announce that the turning point has arrived with Kunal Kohli’s latest magical treat, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic!

So, what are our beloved Bollywood sitaaren up to these days in India? Well, the new trend that seems to have taken over the industry in the recent past is playing hosts and judges on reality television shows. Stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Ajay and Kajol Devgan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan have already hopped onto the bandwagon.
