From the start of the 1st quarter till the very last second of the 4th Quarter of Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals, the Celtics were determined to win and bring the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy back to Boston, back to its rightful owners – the Celtics were in control of the entire game, playing as if they were down by 40 in the 4th Quarter, going for every lay-up, scoring every foul shot, and sinking in each three-pointer.

Everyone recalls the Celtics of the past: Cous and Russell and Bird and Hondo and the Chief. They would dig deep, fight for each & every loose ball, and proudly wore their green jerseys.
Today’s Celtics are no different – they are just one win from another NBA title. In a post game interview, Kevin Garnett said, “I can taste it.” 2008 has truly been a “comeback season,” and Boston is showcasing their ‘best of the best’ at the very end.

The Celtics lead and the Lakers begin to panic! Game 2 of the NBA Finals can be described in one word: powerful.
The obsession to win the golden trophy was shining through the eyes of Pierce, Powe, Kobe, and Fisher. As we said before, the Lakers and Celtics have one of the biggest rivalries in NBA history and it was clearly evident during Game 2. Pierce was fierce last night and helped to lead Boston to a 2-0 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers!
